Buckwheat Hemp Brownies Recipe

Brownies were always one of my favorite desserts to eat as a meat-eater, and still are. Now that I'm plant-based, brownies are enjoyed at a whole new level!

These raw vegan brownies are FREE from dairy, sugar, eggs, and artificial colors and flavors. Best part? Can be enjoyed WITHOUT the guilt 😉 Medjool dates and stevia serve as an excellent sweetener. Completely safe for those who are diabetic.

Enjoy with family, friends and those whom you love. No baking required 🙂

BUCKWHEAT HEMP BROWNIES

  • 1 cup organic Bob's Red Mill buckwheat flour
  • 1/4 cup organic hemp seeds
  • 6-8 freshly pitted medjool dates
  • 4 tablespoons cacao powder
  • 6 tablespoons (add more  or less depending on the consistency)
DIRECTIONS
  1. Pit the dates and pulse all ingredients in a food processor, and process until a sticky, crumbly dough consistency.
  2. Place the dough at the bottom of a flat plate and form brownies.
  3. Top off the brownies with any toppings, as you wish. Spreading peanut butter or any nut or seed butter of choice would be great.
  4. Eat and serve immediately or store in the freezer (or fridge) until you’re ready to eat it. You can even leave it out, covered, o your counter, or even dehydrate it. If you own one.

Enjoy! Comment below how you like it.
